Item 4: Laboratory 1 Blog

The next part of my portfolio is the blog that I was asked to create for the first laboratory, with a variety of well-designed websites, and ones that were different but still worked.

Blog Title

I chose to use a blue, white, and grey theme, taken from my background picture of me on one of the glaciers in Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. Clean fonts as well as lovely, clean colours make this blog very easy to follow, and it allows the posts about each individual website to be found and viewed easily.

I am very passionate about the colours that I used, and it allowed me to go quite creative in that way. I really like the icy grey-blue background in the body of the blog, and overall it gives the blog a clean effect.

My favourite part about this blog is the blurring of the background, allowing those cool colours to come through but putting focus on to the posts themselves. I wouldn't change anything about this blog, and am happy with the overall effect.
